On the other hand, seeing gardening in Australia during Northern hemisphere winter is nice. As I said, give it a try!
Feel free to join !fedigrow@lemmy.zip to discuss your community in the weekly thread and avoid "shouting into the void "
I would usually recommend to just use !gardening@lemmy.world as the userbase isn’t that large at the moment, but you do you. Good luck in any case!
Thank you for the summary
Yeah, it’s just showing that indeed Piefed.zip is still federated with HB and Lemmygrad (while still informing new users about them)
piefed.zip
from the .zip admin:
piefed.zip (and lemmy.zip) already blocks hexbear, lemmygrad, and lemmynsfw by default, and sends a PM to the user when they sign up to let them know why we do this, and how to remove it.
It’s not even recommendation, it’s just a way to see the same content (whatever sort you use) but in one view per topic instead of everything altogether.
Hello,
Hope you are doing well. Any time-frame (even rough) in mind for Lemmy 1.0 release?

Nice community name
Then https://piefed.europe.pub/about could be a better choice.
Also, as much as I moved most of my communities to PieFed, I left a few on Lemmy as it’s fine to have some on both sides.
Duplicating every active Lemmy community on Piefed without locking the Lemmy ones will just lead to community fragmentation
What is the issue with !europe@feddit.org , !europe@lemmy.dbzer0.com and !europe@europe.pub ?
It’s more than with the current userbase, it can be challenging to have two communities on the same niche topic.
You regularly see community consolidations such as https://lemmy.world/post/39671889 , where the agreement was to go from a specific games to the general genre community (city builders)
Seems very close to !journaling@sh.itjust.works by @libb@piefed.social

Good luck!
