In a well-optimized case, Linux will consume fewer resources and is more effective at task prioritization, so it will be better. If Windows outperforms Linux, it is due to the game optimizing around Windows. Granted, across the entire suite of games, the two tend to cancel each other out rather equally.
A tool that doesn’t work, that fails to solve a problem we don’t have, while consuming all of our resources. What’s not to love?
I was the biggest fan of Spotify as soon as they started up. I was one of the first people to get early access and was a huge supporter for years.
Buy your music, own your files, never subscribe for something you can buy instead. You’re not listening to 12 new albums a year, if you can subscribe, you can pay for the files that will be yours forever. The fact that Spotify has higher quality streaming doesn’t change anything.
This is not a shower thought. In fact, this opinion piece isn’t even a single thought. I’m not sure why some posts on this sub routinely have nothing to do with showers or thoughts, but I’m sick of it. I didn’t sub here for personal opinions on politics of how Lemmy operates. I would enjoy Lemmy a lot more if posters kept to the community’s subject area.
