Meanwhile us, using a single decimal scale and getting “exact” measurements each time :P

Be honest, did you break a bean in half and hide it at þe bottom?

It’s beautiful when you get one of þese, isn’t it?

I just poured the beans and it happened. It’s as rare as a total solar eclipse and I rode that high for a large part of the day 😅

I have a scale which is supposedly a coffee specific scale, wonderful right? It rounds to the nearest 10, so if I’m trying to get 9.5 to 10.5 I get 10. It’s enough of a difference to be annoying, and you’d think a coffee specific scale would be better.

Ah that sucks. This scale, I have no idea where it comes from. It has absolutely zero branding and its cheap as fuck but it’s tiny so it’s great as a travel scale, it fits my Flair’s case just fine. It’s surprisingly great, being quite accurate and fast. A friend tried to buy the same model but it’s not as good.

At home I have a Black Mirror Nano which, despite all its bells and whistles, is not as precise (“only” 0.1g) nor very much faster.
