Do you have any particular preferences, and if there’s a particular reason - why? Small shop beans roasted on demand, or maybe larger brands like Lavazza and the likes?
Are there any neat little known facts about the beans (or the brand) that you prefer?
I have this cycle where I convince myself that I’m not actually picky about beans so then, looking to save some money I’ll buy a higher volume brand. I like what I’d call a medium roast. The problem is once you venture outside of “specialty” coffee even medium roast coffee tastes like charcoal. So I inevitably end up back where I started.
All that being said, my go to coffee is Counter Culture (recently their Fast Forward blend). They’re relatively local, easily available, moderately priced and “good enough” for me.
