This would be so pleasant. I know you can use mods without it but this would be better.

Yeah. And while Vortex does work on deck/Linux, it’s a royal pain to do, and in my experience you need to install multiple instances of it. I’d love to see them have native support, and make it so I don’t need a different installation in every single wine prefix

For the life of me I could not get vortex to properly work on Bazzite. I know you need to somehow link the nxm handler to wine but fuck that nonsense. Especially when every guide i saw was for mod manager which has a specific nxm handler already they tell you to use. No idea how to find that for vortex specifically.

Anyway, not like I really need vortex, it only makes collections annoying as fuck to get working. Personally I wish nexus would die before forcing even more of their proprietary bullshit down our throats

Weird, when I did it on steamdeck all I did was install it under the same prefix as skyrim and it worked? Wonder if there’s something in the background that Bazzite isn’t to make it work

I just can’t get Vortex to open any links like collections. It was for Schedule 1 so maybe that’s why? I know Vortex has a native Linux app for some games, I think Skyrim is one of them with CP2077
