Flat milk as opposed to carbonated milk?
I’m assuming as opposed to steamed milk. I’m curious what the “strawberry” part is referring to, personally.
I think it’s just the flavour profile. I was talking to OP yesterday I think about their coffee preferences and they mentioned they’ve got a very fruit-forward bean they’re currently enjoying that has a strong strawberry flavour. I could be wrong though, hopefully they come in and confirm or correct me.
That is exactly what i was referring to. I am not 100 percent sure if it is a co-ferment or actually infused.
Yes. Not steamed.
gagging don’t give em ideas!
I dont know exactly what this is but i think i am already addicted to it.
In case you’re curious, a turbo shot is a shot of espresso done really fast and long (so usually a coarser grind size to gush out quickly, and at a higher water:coffee ratio. The usual recipe I see people use is 1:2.6-1:3 at around 6 BAR in around 15 seconds, as opposed to a standard espresso shot which is typically 1:2 at 9 BAR in around 30 seconds). It’s a bit of a modern espresso trend but it’s really taken off in some circles. As for flat milk, I agree with the other commenter that it’s probably just not steamed. Strawberry is probably the flavour profile of the beans. Vanilla is vanilla.
Thank you!
You got it exactly right. 1:3 in about 15 sec.
Very strawberry forward with an alcohol extraction of vanilla and just cold milk. The flecs are just actual pieces of vanilla bean
