According to some sources, at least 1 in 8 of the world population is classified as ‘obese’. Since nobody in any government seems to have thought up a working solution, what do you believe can be done to solve the epidemic?
People were also severely stressed in the centuries past (remember, the 8 hour workday is a recent invention). Less stress helps for sure, but the availability of calorie-dense food engineered to be delicious is probably even worse.
Did they have long hours before industrial revolution though?
I mean farmhands would work from sunup to sundown. That was the profession of a lot of people pre-industrial age. I’m not sure what white collar workers would’ve be working but I doubt less than 10 hours on average.
