Coming from Teamspeak it is shit. But Teamspeak did not develop a better chat system, so I guess at least there discord was better. To this day there is no “your microphone is muted” warning in discord, absolutely crazy. The mute/unmute sounds are almost identical and no way to change them…
There is a “your mic is muted” warning. A green text box appears over the mute icon to let you know others can’t hear you. The sounds are also completely different? Higher pitched note for unmuted, lower for mute. Idk how you can’t hear the difference.
Sooner people quit using discord the better. Crazy how many people jumped on.
Well, for a while Discord was crazy good.
Was it though? I never liked it.
The UI has always been the worst fucking thing any humans ever dreamed up.
Up there with stupid unnecessary Netflix menus
Hmm… Well, coming from Skype it certainly was amazing. Though, I guess this depends when you first were exposed to Discord.
I hopped onto it well before any hint of enshitification occurred.
