Basically what I’m saying is, you’re right, it’s because people distort the meaning of something innocuous (I.e. a boycott) into something unpleasant sounding (e.g. cancel culture) for whatever purpose they have.

Fair enough. Basically what I’m saying is, you’re right, it’s because people distort the meaning of something innocuous (I.e. a boycott) into something unpleasant sounding (e.g. cancel culture) for whatever purpose they have.
So you’re anti-cancel culture as a term?
