    The few times I’ve charged an electric rental car, I had to go pee and buy snacks or go for lunch anyway… in my opinion a longer break of a few minutes from driving is healthy and safer anyway.

      Right, the more you plan ahead, the more efficient you become. First, I look at where chargers are located, then I choose restaurants, grocery stores, shopping malls, hotels, based on those locations. Even sports complexes and community centres. But if you charge at home daily and stay in the same city, you don’t even need public charging at all. Highway level 3 stations are those that really matter.

        Of course. I only needed them for larger trips so I had to plan. Charging at home for everyday use is of course superior in many ways.

          We only have to plan once for each trip so once that is done, most of our frequent trips are planned ahead.
