    With canada geese? I doubt it. More likely with 30 pound attack geese. Canada geese would attack the handlers and leave, or mooch off the prisoners.

      Says in the article they use Sentinel Geese, a domesticated and very aggressive and territorial bird that signals loudly when anything in their area is off. They’ve been used for decades to guard farms and fields. Says the prisoners are responsible for caring and feeding for them and they’ve been warned that the geese will turn on anyone even their handlers.

        And if the sentinel geese don’t work out, they can escalate to swans. They’re mean fuckers, and far more massive than geese.

        Edit: And is swans don’t do it, there are cassowaries.
