There’s a reason why Chick Fil A is doing better than every other fast food company: Service.

No, the reason is blind loyalty from Christofascist Christian Nationalists.

Every time you pay them for their bland ass chicken, they spend some of that money on torturing gay kids for Jesus, or supporting a politician that wants to make heresy a capital crime.

Nah. I agree it helps them unfortunately,

But their food quality and service is better.

I say this as an antitheist

Bullshit. There’s always 5 extra employees at chickfila, an extra 1-2 in the drive through alone. My order is never wrong at chickfila, I’ve never had to complain of missing items.

Service trumps it all, whether you like the taste or not. I don’t feel cheated, I don’t feel abused. I get what I pay for and move on.

It’s a very simple system that so many others fuck up so badly.

Hope you’re part of whatever group they start finding the oppression of next. Anyone not militantly opposed to Christian Nationalism is supporting Christian Nationalism.

Where do they support that, I’m only familiar with the religious angle.

I’m anti-religion, so it’s kind of a testament towards the business.

Come on my dude they are closed on Sunday for a reason. I agree that they have fantastic service and it is probably a major reason for their success, but they also have a major share of Christian Nationalists that eat there because they are Christian Nationalist and anti-LGBTQ. Anyway here’s a succinct wiki that outlines their anti-LGBTQ connection and Christian Nationalism:

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chick-fil-A_and_LGBTQ_people

And here’s Dan Cathy’s wiki page:

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Cathy

In June 2021, The Daily Beast reported that the National Christian Charitable Foundation (NCF), to which Cathy is reportedly a major donor, was helping to fund opposition to the Equality Act.

And just read the wiki page for them:

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chick-fil-A

            S. Truett Cathy was a devout Southern Baptist; his religious beliefs had a major impact on the company.[56] The company’s official statement of corporate purpose says that the business exists “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.”[57] Cathy opposed the company becoming public for religious and personal reasons.[58]

Feel like you almost have to be willfully ignorant to not know about the connection between Chick-fil-a and Christian Nationalism in current year though. Are you just an incredibly uncurious person?

As much as you think that matters to everyone else as much as it matters to you, you are wrong.

You aren’t wrong about what their owners do and what supporting them funds. But 99/100 people going to Chick Fil A just want a damn chicken sandwich. They don’t think about the owners or politics. They think about going somewhere that is fast, easy, and relatively tasty (compared to other fast food places).

Blind loyalty only accounts for a very minor percent of their business.

You are objectively wrong on this one.

Most people who go to CFA could not care less about religion. They go there because the service is outstanding and people are nice to them, and no other place treats customers that way.

They can get chicken anywhere. They can’t have nice service anywhere else.

While that doesn’t actually match up with my experience growing up in the cult or my experience working at one, I’ll grant that there might be some places where that’s true.

In which case I hope every sorry sack of shit who thinks the cashier faking a pleasant demeanor for their minimum wage is more important than not supporting Christian Nationalism winds up being the next target. Not supporting shitheads like the Cathy family is so far below the bare minimum that if you can’t just not eat the bland ass chicken then you don’t deserve any empathy at all when (not if) the Nazis come for you.
