Lemmy has it’s share of trolls, but we also have our share of russian propaganda trying to influence our election. This specific moderator of a very large Lemmy community (LateStageCapitalism) has been posting “democrats are actually the fascists!” memes, while banning/censoring everyone who speaks out in favor of the very people attempting to thwart the literal fascist regime in power right now.
You know, I used to care about all of that, I listened to Mueller She Wrote and all the rest. In the end though either there was no there there or Biden spiked the follow-up. Either the Dems knew there was nothing there or didn’t care, either way proving the point about bourgeois elections

Or a Russian asset took office and stacked the deck. Democrats have a lot to answer for but Russian election meddling and ties to Trump and his family are so out the open that of you’re towing that line you’re not doing so in good faith.
Biden and Garland had four years and did nothing. They don’t actually care, it’s just a talking point for them
