Anyone have tips on jail breaking a carrier locked Samsung s20 to lobotomize all the spyware?

Easiest is probably with a DNS firewall to block all Samsung traffic. I recommend NextDNS.

Next level would be using ADB to uninstall tipycally uninstallable-apps.

Final level would be replacing your stock Android with something like LineageOS or eOS. I have no experience with either of those, other than installing eOS to a friend, but I use GrapheneOS and it’s such a joy, I can’t imagine using any other Android ever.

My previous cellphone was a Samsung with stock Android and the difference with GrapheneOS is insane. I’m talking going Windows-to-Linux-levels of using software that isn’t constantly spitting on your face kind of insane.

I’m actually a graphene user as well 🙌

        I love it.

The s20 is still a good little phone with great battery life. I’d like to turn it into a fun lineageos device for gaming or to use for Bluetooth or something.

I’ve done the first two steps with my old S10 as well. It’s not bad for an older device and I still get all if the features phones used to have like a headphone jack and SD card slot.

NVidia is the real evil hoarding RAM/TSMC, and Altman is just a minion fronting for them.

One of Steve’s more imporant rants IMO. This is the moment we will look back to when the bros loudly began advocating for the end of Personal Computing.

    You can begin practicing:

    • What kind of C do you have?

    • Same C as you.

    • Ah, of course. Is it me or are they getting slower?

    • Nah, the C has been getting slower.

    • My dad told me he once built one himself. It got so hot in Winter the cat slept on it.

They started with gaming a while back, then they moved to software. This is another step, but not the first one.

From a global allocation perspective, actually it’s quite, terrible, to have Sam Altman and a small number of rich people to have the world’s limited supply of capital sitting around in their own speculative asset holdings.
