minus-squareLogi@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·19 hours agoHmmm… where I’m from ð is for vocalized th (there) and þ is for unvocalizef (three). On the next island over (I’m pretty sure) they use ð in the same way but don’t use þ at all. I’m not sure where you have that hard soft split.

Hmmm… where I’m from ð is for vocalized th (there) and þ is for unvocalizef (three). On the next island over (I’m pretty sure) they use ð in the same way but don’t use þ at all. I’m not sure where you have that hard soft split.
