Was recently in an argument on memes@lemmy.ml and was shamed for “Being against Palestine” (which is absurd. I support Palestine, but apparently voting for Kamala over Trump because the former had the better stance on transpeople is somehow a bad thing?)

And I recently saw I could no longer reply or even up or down vote.

When I went to check my posts they were marked with “Banned from Community”

I’d expect a message direct to me to explain this, but I didn’t get one.

I have seen this marker on other users. Alongside just “banned”

So just asking what’s the difference between banned and banned from community?

Anyone who needs to censor you evidently feels they can’t beat your argument with rationality. It’s a sign of concession.
