Also because if I’m going to run something as heavy as VSCodium, I might as well run Jetbrains IDEs which I personally find more ergonomic. Nonfree software, sure, but I like them as a company generally.
I don’t hate Microsoft, I hate nonfree software. I happily use free software developed by Microsoft, eg VSCodium.
