I remember being able to watch multiple different live streams of the capital riots that were more or less in real time via YouTube and twitch, but nowadays it seems I can mostly only find the same sources with content that is a minimum of hours old being labeled as live, sometimes it’s even days. So I’m wondering how everyone else is keeping up to date.

The capitol riots went on for a long time and they were in a place where there were a lot of camera teams already. That’s not usually the case. For what recent event do you think the public would’ve benefitted from a live stream?

the whole point of a demonstration is to be visible and documented

That’s a solid point, I would think I would have seen more from the no kings protests at least
