I’m currently training as a System Integration specialist and I’m looking to move away from social media platforms like Instagram. I want to focus on quality news content instead. Could you recommend some RSS feeds that align with left-leaning perspectives and cover relevant topics? I appreciate any suggestions!
I do advise you to look for news sources as neutral as possible. do not inform your self in any form of echo chamber and then think you are informed. look at topics from all sides. there are good and bad news sources on the whole spectrum. allsides.com or ground.news shows you diffrent approaches to present a topic.
Edit: What I want to add: If you never try to slip into your opponents skin and try to view the world from their perspective, you cannot expect them to do so. This is cruicial for de-polarization and lays the ground for constructive debates.
I looked specifically for balanced stuff for myself, but I’m doing a similar thing. I’m having trouble finding RSS newsfeeds generally, I had more luck with email newsletters, but those aren’t free. They include advertising and you have given them your email.
News is monetized. When it looks free, it’s sponsored.
I don’t have a good source of the top of my head, but in general you could probably search terms like RSS Infomat or see if publications like The Canary and 404 media have RSS feeds.

If you find a site you like, you can put /feed at the end of the base URL and it’ll give the RSS feed about 40% of the time, since about 40% of sites use WordPress.
