I assume nearly everyone in the western world knows Trump is a pedophile. It is now public knowledge that Trump raped children, both boys and girls.
And through inaction said public is consenting to be ruled by nasty Christian predators.
I do not consent to be ruled by these individuals. And I assume many here do not either.
Which leads me to my main question:
How (and/or what) should thoughtful people think about the public’s consent to be ruled by elite Epstein class pedophiles?

Thoughtful people understand the public doesn’t think about any of this.
Not thinking about it at this point is a choice. People in my life are deliberately telling me to stop thinking about it
And choosing to think about it when you aren’t doing anything about it is a choice too. A choice to willingly be upset about things outside of your control.
Do what you can, where you can. And recognize that your feelings alone don’t change anything.
I can be as upset as I want about what Israel is doing, but I can’t directly effect that. I can do my best to not support it by boycotting a bunch of different things. I could attend or even organize protests. But my feelings about it have no direct effect. I’m not going to wallow in news about it as if immersing myself in knowledge about the horrors somehow helps improve the situation in any way.
There’s a point, and it’s a lot earlier than most people think, where knowing more info and facts about something that doesn’t directly effect you and that you can’t directly effect yourself only results in messing with your own emotions.
News organizations live and die on how long they can keep people looking, to maximize ad impressions. It is within their best interest, and not necessarily in your own, to keep you hooked to the outrage and depression hose.
