Now for sock two. The hardest thing in knitting. Afterthought heel. No real pattern was used but I did write it down as I made it so I can repeat it.
I’m tired of buying socks that blow out after a week. I have been hoarding discount sock yarn for years and it’s time get it used so I can repair instead of toss.
I don’t know if I could afford that. Last night I gathered all my available sock yarn that I have hoarded from thrift shops over the years. Some really low quality stuff. But it’s sock yarn that cost me almost nothing. To go exclusively hand made. I’d have to use real money.
I pulled out my next yarn. This morning: Wife “WTF is wrong with that yarn?” Me “it’s Red Heart. That’s just one of three problems it has.”
