Hi everyone.
So I’m trying to use my Sony wireless cans over bluetooth for Arc Raiders and the mic isn’t very good at all. It’s better in discord but my friends tell me it’s still not great.
I’m aware of bluetooth duplex quality issues. It used to work fine on Windows 10 but is struggling on Bazzite. I’d love to just tinker with some settings or drivers and have it work so I don’t have to buy anything else.
I’m prepared to buy a wireless headset with 2.4ghz dongle but don’t know what’s good.
I’m also prepared to buy a microphone and just use the headset as headphones only.
I’ve done about five years help desk support so would strongly prefer not to be physically tethered to my computer.
Thanks for any advice.

Never got my Bose QC35 ii to work properly, seems like a limitation of Bluetooth. Ended up buying a yeti snowball and its far better than any headset mic I’ve ever used.
A good mic is 200 bucks, good pair of headphones is 200 bucks.
It cost more to shrink something’s size and keep the same quality.
So unless your headset costs like 600+ dollars either the mic is shit or the headphones are shit. Typically both.
So unless you fucking hate money for some stupid reason. Stop buying shit headsets.
Thats the cost of a professional mic, not of an “i just need to talk to my friends” mic. And at least wh 1000mx4 comes with 5 mics. The thing is, they arent intended to be used as mics per se but for noise cancelling.
I think its more of a Bluetooth limitation.
