Driving a kia e-niro. There’s nothing gimmicky about it except for the melody that plays when you start the car. Everything else is pretty much down to earth regular car stuff. And with a price below 40k, in 2021, I think it wasn’t even that expensive for a EV.

It’s still the video to “all is full of love” by Björk for me. I found the style and pacing so intriguing that I heavily copied it for a computer animation I did at University.

People do, but not as much as they did the decades before. That’s for sure. There’s a measurable decline of nightlife/clubs/bars/etc. almost everywhere. Phones are one reason, prices, corporatization and the vanishing of subcultures, outside in the real world, are others…

Again, who is talking about prices below cost? Are you guys bots?

Ok you defend it on “Hardware got expensive”? Why is it so expensive? How much wealth do you think Jensen Huang needs? How much wealth do you think the upper Management at Samsung, TSMC or SK Hynix really needs? We don’t have to stick to hardware. Do you think the people at the top of PepsiCo need more wealth? Because food prices are really up atm… pharmaceuticals? And just think of all the shareholders who also have to profit from the sales revenue. You could lower the price of a million pairs of glasses by $100 and still have brought in only one-fifth of the cost of Gabe’s yacht less in revenue. Just think about it: the top 10% had to get their hands on 70% of the total wealth somehow. The fact that everything is just ridiculously expensive is a great mechanism for that.

Okay, why are we talking about prices below cost now?

Garbage. There’s at least one Guy already owning a $500 million dollar yacht from the revenue of that company. They can’t make it cheaper because they’re super duper capitalists.

In addition you destroyed 12 acres of nature, reduced the income of 15 other humans by 5% and made a family in the southern hemisphere homeless 👍
