Marxist and Anarchist spaces online tend to be the biggest echo chambers on the internet. I think people like OP would get more valuable information in a more open space like this than over there

How would anarchism work
That’s the neat part, it doesn’t work

Technology@lemmy.world•Grok floods X with sexualized images of women and children: Grok generated an estimated 3 million sexualized images, including 23,000 of children in 11 daysEnglish
21·6 hours agoIf even Grok shut down completely, it doesn’t mean anything. Pandora’s box is open and AI generated porn is here to stay. There are soooooooooooooooo many websites that exist just to generate deepfake nudes and AI porn. You take down one, another 100 pop up. It’s a futile game of whackamole.
Even if we passed laws banning this shit, the technology that enables it to be a thing is free, open source, and can very easily be modified to do precisely this. Anybody can run these models locally at any time, and nobody can do a thing about it. Basically what I’m trying to say is that we’re cooked.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How many of you are interested in one single genre of porn your whole life?
2·6 hours agoI think this is much more common in women than men.
Men are generally more visually driven in sexual arousal. Male sexual arousal is more strongly linked to novelty. New visuals = bigger dopamine spike. That makes genre hopping more rewarding, kind of like scrolling endlessly for “the next thing.”
Women, on the other hand, care more about context, story, emotional tone, and dynamics, so fewer genres can satisfy more deeply. Porn is also usually not treated as the primary masturbation aid by women as it is with men. Because of this, they watch porn less often and explore less genres when they do watch it. They usually just go back to the same genres that worked before.
Based on the science, your habits are very common among women. Don’t let the comments fool you into thinking you’re a weirdo, because you’re not. Most of the comments here are written by men, and therefore their answers reflect their habits. So you’re fine, and you’re not alone.
The number one issue with the fediverse in general is the tiny stagnant user base. Everything else is way too insignificant to matter. People could make as many fediverse platforms as they want, it doesn’t mean anything if nobody is using them.

5·2 days agoIt’s like Facebook’s squandering tens of billions of dollars on the Metaverse even though nobody asked for it or wants it. Ultimately they had to give up on it, and the same thing will happen here.

It’s quite simple actually, if you ever reach the point where you’re considering being a sexist unironically, it’s time to log off and go do something offline for once. Being open to bigotry is the number 1 sign that they’re chronically online.
