6 days agoI just use file systems that compress behind the scenes. Over the wires I might use a -z option if I am in a hurry.

1·21 days agoMy backup tooling just shuts down the container and associated db, then rysncs it all somwhere safe and restarts the container. Am I missing somethoing critical by not doing a db dump in the middle of that?
