22 days agoI write a few different styles, been writing big beat for a couple of years now and trying to do it as independently as possible. But still needs promoting online, hence social media ugh.

Some of us have no choice. If I don’t have social media, record labels won’t sign my music. I cannot afford to pay someone else to maintain it for me.
FR. These features are so easy to disable, when I updated Firefox recently it asked me on next load if I want the features or not… I chose not, no big deal!
‘AI’ is this generations Justin Bieber / Skrillex. There’s plenty to criticise but it’s becoming a bandwagon at this point.
Yeah for some reason I find it easier to avoid infinite scroll with FB than reddit! I know, that’s like mentioning Voldemoort round here.
Not sure if any Lemmy-ers still use reddit, they fucked it again (removed /all). It’s rapidly turning into a copy of meta, feeds are now curated by algo rather than votes :(
