Are we sure he didn’t tweak it to have prompts that only give now or later option without a way to say no? Maybe he also set it to restart to install updates but only when he’s in a call or has more than 30 minutes of unsaved work.

When my computer goes to sleep I no longer have audio when I resume using it. Unplugging and replugging my USB DAC is a workaround I’ve been using.
