I think there are things that cannot be automated, or at least not practically. For example, yesterday I saw handmade cat tree scratchers, which were some large branches screwed together.

But I think most of people do care much more about price then producing entity. Handmade products are premium, niche and artistic. But no-one would buy handmade bricks.

First of all, defending is much more easier than attacking. Also, as said in other comments, Russia isn’t a superpower, wasn’t for a long time. And US is decimating Iran successfully, which is really impressive with how far it is from them. But Iran just isn’t giving up, no matter its citizens or economy. They just try to piss everyone so much that Trump will be forced to give up, even though they are winning militarily.

I’m glad politicians are spending their time solving the biggest problems we are facing.

Ads via HDMI shouldn’t work if the TV doesn’t have internet connection, by my understanding. So I do not see any problems there.

I don’t think AI is to blame. They just don’t need those people. I heard big tech hired a lot of people to steal them from smaller businesses, so they could not compete with them. If those employees had been useful to them, they wouldn’t fire them.

What do you even mean? Calculators and LLMs are solving different problems. And there are a lot of calculators and a lot of LLMs. Also, calculator accuracy could be approaching 0% because they all have limited precision and there are infinite numbers. Some of the calculators even can’t correctly answer 0.1+0.2, while most LLMs can do that.

Because guessing correct answer is more successful than saying nothing.

I was surprised that S&P500 gained over last year ~16%, but dollar lost compared to euro ~15℅, so there was no real gain.

As someone from Czech Republic, I am not surprised. There are sometimes huge differences between country names in czech and English. And the closer the country is, the bigger the difference.
