50·5 months agoNot a military strategist, but 3 things that are easily observable:
- Iran and Ukraine are fighting on home turf.
- The US and Russia were massively overconfident. Both thought a small operation to kill the top brass would cause Ukraine and Iran to topple.
- The asymmetry of objectives. The US and Russia are fighting wars of choice, while Ukraine and Iran fight wars of necessity for their survival.
