Never really understood that logic, tbh. Who needs a computer when a computer can be broken? Was Tina Turner all about unbreakable things?
Well, not really. Kind of misinterpreted your message before having my coffee and responded without thinking. Anyway, I’m pissed off about the bots that try to discourage US voting and it leaks to all my Lemmy comments.
DoN’t VoTe FoR dEmOcRaTs! BoTh SiDeS aRe ThE sAmE!!!1
Edit: wait, that’s also lemmy. Especially Lemmy. Nevermind.
Edit2: Bloody Lemmy users, they ruined Lemmy.

In that case I feel like it’s best to argue that rather than just conveying the inner arsehole. Perhaps there’s a productive discussion to be had here.

Why are people in these comments such huge dicks? What the hell is wrong with you people?

Sounds like someone wants to sell me some cryptos. The last time it happened I lost nearly everything and I vowed myself I’d never fall for that again. You seem nice tho, just sent a PM.

Just creatine for me. People say it works, and I think I feel less groggy when I’m on it, but in the end it’s very hard to tell. At least it has physical benefits at the gym, so it’s not wasted. Makes me retain water like crazy tho.

I don’t think OP said anything about him not being popular.
Edit: just to clarify how I understood the question, I think OP is asking about what horrible shit did Reagan do. Nothing about his perception. For example, Reagan dismantled most of the American unions, which has helped to gut the middle class. He was never shamed for this though, so he remains popular.

I think most MAGA people would be against dropping a nuke.
And for the following 1-2 days that those dimwits are able to keep this in their head they would blame Trump. After that, they would go back to their lord and savior.
Shawshank Redemption is not a very good movie.
If you got the interview through a network, you’re already way ahead all the other candidates. And if you’re otherwise a competent candidate, they’re probably mostly seeing if they like you as a person. Good luck!

Which can be a type of valuation.

Sorry to hear it happened to you. I hope things are better now. Some people are just toxic, I suppose.

Yes, of course. I was interpreting the question as more explicit valuation like social credit etc.

Care to elaborate on this … experience?

You could definitely assign some measure of value to people, such as how much tax they pay or something like that.
However, you wouldn’t want to live in a society that does so.

As for 5., the only annoyance I have is that sometimes when you are browsing a thread and want to go back to the community front page, clicking the link takes you there but as a non-logged in user. Then you have to go back and find the correct link that still keeps you logged on.
I suppose it’s something like you have to browse through your own instance where you’re logged in, and just navigating to the other instance will show you as a non-logged in guest. But I’m not entirely sure how that works.
