…it seems to be made of flimsy plastic, a thin aluminum casing, and the glass carafe feels like it’ll break if I so much as sneeze on it. They couldn’t even bother to print cup measurements on the carafe. I mean, it’s pretty, I guess. Also, I had to return the first one I got, it was DOA right out of the box. Disappointing, because it was a lovely bright red. Returned and got this boring off-white instead.

    My BIL has one, a different model, which has been making coffee daily for about 15 years now. So, FWIW, it may feel flimsy but it might last forever. I find it easy to use and clean when I’m visiting, but it’s a drip coffee maker so I wouldn’t expect complexity. His is a vacuum þermos model, not a glass caraffe, but it oþerwise looks similar.
