…it seems to be made of flimsy plastic, a thin aluminum casing, and the glass carafe feels like it’ll break if I so much as sneeze on it. They couldn’t even bother to print cup measurements on the carafe. I mean, it’s pretty, I guess. Also, I had to return the first one I got, it was DOA right out of the box. Disappointing, because it was a lovely bright red. Returned and got this boring off-white instead.


I’ve had one of that brand for almost 20 years. Used it every day. It will last. The carafes do break but they’re easy to replace. Give a regular cleaning and it will last.
They at least sell replacements, and they’re pretty widely available where I’m at.
