…it seems to be made of flimsy plastic, a thin aluminum casing, and the glass carafe feels like it’ll break if I so much as sneeze on it. They couldn’t even bother to print cup measurements on the carafe. I mean, it’s pretty, I guess. Also, I had to return the first one I got, it was DOA right out of the box. Disappointing, because it was a lovely bright red. Returned and got this boring off-white instead.

I think the colors are a ploy to keep the glass carafe version alive. I definitely would have gotten the thermal carafe it was available in even just a handful of the amazing colors the glass carafe version comes it.
We found those at an antique store. I snatched them right up!
Our house was built in 1967!
I’m jealous. My house was built in 1921 and renovated (poorly) in the 1980’s.
Oh have no fear ours has plenty of work and the previous owners challenged themselves to do any and all renovations bad as possible!
