I don’t forget to add salt, but I don’t like salt nearly as much as other people seem to, so when we have guests over for dinner, we warn them that the food is lightly salted and provide various condiments at the table to add salt.
I like both - sometimes nearly no salt is fine, on other days i like an extra pinch or two. really depends on both the dish and whatever floats my boat that day
