Lately of a poem-writing spree, with words toying, feeling very free, I’ve been enjoying greatly.

Latest hobby is photography, I had a camera for Christmas after not having a camera with interchangeable lenses in decades. I like that it gets me out the house as like nature/landscape/train photography.

Long standing hobbies are mechanical keyboards and coffee, espresso and pour over.

Keyboards I have really slowed down my purchases to just two or three new keyboards each year.

Coffee I have not purchased anything other than beans in a long time, but I still want to upgrade my espresso machine (marax) at some point.

Is Gear Acquisition Syndrome a hobby? Lol

Origami and making clothes. I’m decent at the former, not self confident enough at the latter.

    Boardgaming!

I own a modest company collection, run weekly boardgame nights, and demo boardgames at conventions for a large publisher. It helped me meet a lot of fantastic people. Boardgamers are some of the coolest nerds out there.

Some people don’t mind bland food or eating the same thing all the time. As someone trying to lose weight, I envy them.

Healthy food doesn’t have to bland. One of my favorite things is a spicy red cabbage slaw with lime juice and apple cider vinegar. I’m currently eating carrots with ranch made from Greek yogurt. Denying yourself flavor is not a strategy for long term success.

This is me. I like using my morning protein shake as a kind of coffee creamer. Then I don’t eat til dinner. Then I eat burritos, which I like. It’s a pretty easy way to stay lean

15 minutes?! Those are rookie numbers. If your really interested in the hobby subscribe to Foxtel again (as well as Netflix) and you’ll be in the big league.

This works across streaming platforms! Peacock is a reliable one, nothing there is really worth watching, but what if you wanted to watch The Office again?

This is what sets the betrotting enthusiasts apart from the pros. I can only do 2-3 minutes before I switch apps and try YouTube or lemmy.

maybe, but I wasn’t addressing them directly really. It was kind of a reference. unironically addressing people as “sir” etc is very american anyway.

But regardless, I don’t see any pronouns listed so if I was addressing OP directly they’d be they
